Taste and Travel at Home Tour: Woodstock Georgia

Spread the love

The next stop on the Second Season Travel Taste and Travel at Home Tour is Woodstock, Georgia! Travel isn’t exactly a great option right now. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy treats from your favorite destinations, including your own state.

At Second Season Travel, we’re on a travel at home mission to support small businesses and farmers from all the communities we love, and those we have yet to discover.

Join us for an At-Home Taste of Woodstock Georgia

A few months ago, we took you on a foodie adventure through Dekalb County Georgia. You’ll find just as many delights when you travel further North to visit Woodstock, Georgia.

Touted as a “city unexpected,” Woodstock is known for being a colorful community full of artisans and farm fresh delights.

If you are in the area, one way to support this lovely community is to order take out from local restaurants. Many are offering curbside service or home deliveries. It’s a great way to take a break and enjoy some gourmet delights at home while ensuring these businesses will survive and thrive so you can enjoy dining in when the stay-at-home orders are lifted. One of my favorites is Vingenzo’s, a traditional award-winning Italian pizza and pasta restaurant. Magnifico!

The Woodstock Farmers Market is truly a treasure, as well. Remember, it’s easy to social distance at Farmers Markets, too, making them a great way to spend the day while supporting local vendors.

You can also order some Woodstock Farmers Market treats straight to your doorstep like Bettie’s Blueberry Jams and Jellies and Leaning Ladder Premium Olive Oils and Vinegar.

One of my favorite tastes from the Woodstock Farmers Market is Frik & Frak Foods Artisanal Sauces. The exceptionally fresh flavors of these small-batch hand-crafted sauces are amazing. I just received my order and I’m so excited to enjoy them this week with my family!
